Returns & Refunds

At Sassy Salt Lady, our products are food items.

Because of health and safety requirements, we do not offer refunds or returns.

This policy operates in line with the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.


When You Are Entitled to a Remedy

Under the Consumer Guarantees Act, you are entitled to a remedy if a product:

  • Is faulty or unsafe

  • Is significantly damaged on arrival

  • Is the wrong item

If this occurs, please contact us at info@sassysaltlady.com within 48 hours of delivery, including your order number and clear photos of the issue.

Each situation will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Where a remedy is required under the CGA, we may offer:

  • A replacement, or

  • Store credit


What We Cannot Accept

We do not accept returns or refunds for:

  • Change of mind

  • Opened or used food products

  • Sale items

  • Gift cards

  • Custom or special orders


Important Notes

  • Food items cannot be returned once delivered for health and safety reasons.

  • Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.
